Definition; By 2028, a world-class Army that is a source of national pride.

Personality development - is the development of the


organized pattern of behaviors and attitudes that makes a
person distinctive. Personality development occurs by the
ongoing interaction of temperament , character, and
environment.

Self-Development is a process of consciously improving


oneself in various aspects of his or her life. It is the
conscious pursuit of personal growth by
improving personal skills, competencies, talents, and
knowledge.

The three sides of the triangle are


composed Perceived and Ideal Self
• Ideal Self (how person would like to
be).
• The Real Self(Actual) (how person
really is).
• Perceived Self (how person
sees self & and others see them).

This means that the person is The three sides of the triangle are composed of;
experiencing conflict between
their perceived and real self.

VALUES EDUCATION THEORY


The Values Education approach is based on the belief that for
children to develop values there is a requirement for both
the practical modeling of what these values entail and a
vocabulary to understand what they mean and how to apply
them in practice. (Eaude, 2008:33).

Ethics education - is a broad term for learning experiences


intended to help students develop ethically, whether in
terms of increased ethical awareness and understanding or
greater motivation to act ethically in the world.

What is Moral Education - It is


nothing but providing all sorts of
education related customs,
culture, morality, good behavior,
Creating awareness about religion
and mold patriotism, change the
attitude knowledge about general
subjects etc., on the whole it is a
value base education system.

Conscience describes two things –


• what a person believes is right.
• how a person decides what is
right.
More than just 'gut instinct', our
conscience is a 'moral muscle'. By
informing us of our values and
principles, it becomes the standard
we use to judge whether or
not our actions are ethical.
