Inner Bangkok Complete Project

The area of inner Bangkok, particularly within the Ratchadaphisek Ring Road relation 19036523., has seen significant improvements in mapping coverage. Local mappers, including several active users, have contributed detailed data such as buildings, land use, addresses, and points of interest.

Ongoing contributions include:

  • Addition of detailed building outlines, addresses, land use, and amenities
  • Improved road classifications, sidewalk mapping, and routing data
  • Cleanup multilingual name tagging
  • Updates to public transport infrastructure and points of interest

Contributors are encouraged to continue improving less-complete areas and to verify existing data. Coordination can take place via the Community forum or the Thai OSM Facebook group.

Mapping Conventions

Mapping in Bangkok also follows the general mapping conventions for Thailand. See WikiProject Thailand#Conventions Thailand project page for more information.
