Tag:amenity=baking_oven

The tag amenity=baking_oven is used on public places that can be used for baking bread. It is often used with the tag building=bakehouse, but this is not necessary. It must not be used with shop=bakery.

Examples

When related to a bakehouse (building made for baking bread), you should see instead bakehouse examples. Here are other possible cases:

Case 1: Baking oven inside a public building that is not a bakehouse

• The "building" OSM object (way or multi-polygon relation):
  • building=civic
  • amenity=community_centre
• The "oven" OSM object (probably a node, eventually a way or a relation:multipolygon):
  • amenity=baking_oven
  • oven=electric
  • contact:phone=* (to get information specifically on the oven)

Case 2: Standalone oven, like horno, tabun oven, beehive oven, Kemence (építmény)

• Only the "oven" OSM object (probably a node, eventually a way or a multi-polygon relation):
  • amenity=baking_oven
  • oven=wood_fired
