The 2022 Greater Wellington Regional Council election took place between 16 September and 18 October 2022 via postal vote as part of nation-wide local elections.

The Greater Wellington Regional Council used the single transferable vote system to elect thirteen regional councillors for the 2022–2025 term.[1][2]
