European Veterans Fencing Committee
[edit]The European Veterans Fencing Committee (EVF) is the governing body responsible for organizing and promoting veteran fencing competitions across Europe. It operates under the broader umbrella of the European Fencing Confederation and is recognized by the Fédération Internationale d'Escrime (FIE).
Purpose and activities
[edit]The EVF coordinates major events such as the annual European Veterans Fencing Championships, which gather hundreds of fencers aged 40 and above from various European countries. The organization promotes inclusivity, sportsmanship, and lifelong participation in fencing.
In addition to competitive events, the EVF supports national veteran programs, encourages international collaboration, and helps develop standardized rules and age classifications in line with FIE regulations.
Age categories

- 40–49 years (Category 1)

Championships
