His consistent performance ranks him as the No. 1 (number of cashes) in the province of British Columbia, Canada.[4]
Before his poker accomplishment, he obtained his Electrical engineering degree from the University of British Columbia. He then went on to get his Master of Applied Science and Master of Business at UBC before establishing the Video Library video rental chain in 1987. The chain later consolidates into a distribution company under the name of C&L Multimedia, with a head office in Burnaby, British Columbia.
