Syrian Republic → Syrian Republics – "French Republic" still redirects to "France" rather than "French Republics," as is the case with some other countries. I believe that Syrian Republic should redirect to Syria, as should Republic of Syria. Syrian Arab Republic has already been redirected to "Syria" by User:AltendoYT. "(disambiguation)" would be incorrect because this is a set index article. Syrian Republics would work, though; cf. French Republics. (This is not a !vote to move, though. I haven't thought it through yet. Syrian Republic → Syrian Republics – I understand that this has already been discussed, but I would like to reopen the question regarding the article's title. The previous discussion did not address the issue of the primary topic of the term "Syrian Republic". The primary topic of the term is clearly Syria, officially the Syrian Arab Republic, a country in West Asia. Therefore, "Syrian Republic" should redirect to that article.

Set index articles listing all republican states with names of the form "country adjectival Republic" are typically titled in the plural. Examples include:
