Protection on Pope Leo XIV

[edit]

I was considering bumping it up myself. There wasn't a rash of specific vandalism, but lots of edit warring going on, especially over the image to use. It was getting told. I kept clicking "next edit" and it seemed like every third edit was changing the main image. Tiresome. Good call. --Hammersoft (talk) 17:42, 8 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Geez. And now people are fighting over dmy or mdy dates <facepalm> --Hammersoft (talk) 17:48, 8 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]

About the list of recessions article

[edit]

Literally all statistics about the supposed/potential 2025 recession are wrong. the 39% statistic is derived from a prediction of job losses worldwide due to AI by 2030 that was cataloged in early January (prior to Trump being sworn in), and a lot of links are from articles in 2021/2022. Please fix this or remove the section until credible sources are found. Maddox121 ForgotHisPassword (talk) 17:45, 12 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]

RfC ongoing regarding Abstract Wikipedia (and your project)

[edit]
Copied from Wikipedia:Village pump (miscellaneous) § RfC ongoing regarding Abstract Wikipedia (and your project) because this page is listed on Wikipedia:Village pump (miscellaneous)/Subscribe.

(Apologies for posting in English, if this is not your first language)

Hello all! We opened a discussion on Meta about a very delicate issue for the development of Abstract Wikipedia: where to store the abstract content that will be developed through functions from Wikifunctions and data from Wikidata. Since some of the hypothesis involve your project, we wanted to hear your thoughts too.

We want to make the decision process clear: we do not yet know which option we want to use, which is why we are consulting here. We will take the arguments from the Wikimedia communities into account, and we want to consult with the different communities and hear arguments that will help us with the decision. The decision will be made and communicated after the consultation period by the Foundation.

You can read the various hypothesis and have your say at Abstract Wikipedia/Location of Abstract Content. Thank you in advance! -- Sannita (WMF) (talk) 15:26, 22 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]
