REDD+ PartnershipThe REDD+ Partnership serves as an interim platform for its partner countries to scale up actions and finance for initiatives to reduce emissions from deforestation and forest degradation (REDD+) in developing countries. To that effect, the Partnership aims to take immediate action, including improving the effectiveness, efficiency, transparency and coordination of REDD+ initiatives and financial instruments, to facilitate among other things knowledge transfer, capacity enhancement, mitigation actions and technology development and transfer. This website holds information on the work of the Partnership, its aims and progress, and key documents, including the outcomes of Partnership meetings and workshops.
The REDD+ Partnership is open to all countries willing to support or undertake REDD+ actions.

NotificationsThe final meeting of the REDD+ Partnership in 2012 was held in Doha, Qatar on the 25th of November, 2012. A PRESS RELEASE for the Event is available here.A high-level event was held on the morning of the 5th of December, in the Events building, 2nd Floor, in the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Doha. The Final Version of the Doha Document is available in English, French and Spanish, here. VRD UPDATEThe VRD Team is pleased to announce that the results of the 2012 Questionnaire for financing, actions, and results are now available, and can be accessed through the new voluntary REDD+ Database website: http://reddplusdatabase.org/ The new site offers the opportunity to search, summarise and visualise REDD+ financing data in a more comprehensive manner than the previous website. There are a number of new features on the site which are aimed at improving its functionality, these include new funding flow maps, diagrams, graphs and analyses for both the global and country / institution levels. The site now also has a data download feature, which enables users to access the underlying data in the database. Links |
