CADL Local History joined the Flickr Commons in 2024 in order to encourage public access, use, description, and sharing of our image collections.

Our images within The Commons have no known copyright restrictions. This means that CADL is not aware of any current copyright restrictions on the images, usually because we own the copyright, the term of copyright may have expired without being renewed, or because no evidence has been found that copyright restrictions apply.

When reusing the images, we appreciate that you identify us and any photographer/creator listed in individual image descriptions as the original source. Please link back to the Flickr Commons wherever possible to help spread the word of these historical images and to encourage their reuse.
