Christchurch City Libraries is one of the largest public library networks in New Zealand. Our region stretches across the diverse city of Christchurch and around Banks Peninsula, one of the country’s most stunning landscapes.

In 2009 we celebrated 150 years of Public Libraries in Christchurch and are continuing to add images from the libraries past.
