DOJ Guide to the FOIA
The Department of Justice Guide to the Freedom of Information Act is a comprehensive legal treatise on the FOIA. It includes detailed discussions of the FOIA’s procedural requirements, exemptions, and litigation considerations. Each section contains a detailed analysis of the key judicial opinions issued on the FOIA. It is updated on a rolling basis as significant new developments in FOIA occur.

FOIA.gov
FOIA.gov is the government’s FOIA website for all information on the FOIA. It provides a central resource to understand the FOIA, to locate records that are already available online, and to make a request for information that is not yet publicly available. FOIA.gov also promotes agency accountability for the administration of the FOIA by graphically displaying the detailed statistics contained in Annual FOIA Reports, so that they can be compared by agency and over time.
