INTRODUCTION
Time is the most valuable resource one can have. Time, once gone, can never be brought back.
In this competition-driven world, knowing the value of time is crucial. Thus, one should be proficient
enough to manage and use time.
If we talk about students, they have a lot to cover before the year ends. Often, students
complain about how much work needs to be done with such little amount of time. They seem that
there’s just never enough time in the day to get everything done. It is important to remember that there
are 24 hours in every day and that is the same for everyone. Because no student has more time than
another, sometimes good time management can make all the difference in achieving one’s goals. It is
also important to remember that time management is a skill which is essential in keeping work under
control, which in turn keeps one’s stress to a minimum.
The following modules have been prepared to help the students improve their time
management skills.

MODULE 3
OBJECTIVES:
TIME FRAME:
● 5 minutes
MATERIALS:
PROCEDURE:
1. Bring out two decks of cards — make sure that one deck is properly ordered while the other
deck is completely mixed up (with the ‘Queen of Hearts’ hidden properly).
2. Place the two decks of cards in a table, where the whole class can see.
3. Ask two volunteers from the class to go in front, and pick a deck.
4. After they have picked a deck, ask them to race to find the Queen of Hearts. It’s likely that the
person with the organized deck will realize it right away and quickly find the Queen of Hearts,
whereas the person with the randomized deck will struggle to find the right card.
5. After the activity, let the volunteers return to their seats.
6. Ask the class the processing questions written below.

MODULE 4
OBJECTIVES:
TIME FRAME:
● 40 minutes
MATERIALS:
1. Ask the students how often do they get stressed with the deadlines. Tell them that maybe it’s
because they don’t how how to use their time efficiently. Explain that everyone has the same 24
hours in a day, and everyone has a lot of things going on. And if they try to squeeze in
everything in their day, then it is inevitable that they would feel like there’s not enough time in a
day and eventually stress out. Knowing which things to prioritize and planning how one’s day is
supposed to be can help them keep things under control and stress to a minimum.
2. After briefly explaining the importance of prioritizing and planning, hand over the worksheets
and have them answer it honestly.
3. Collect the worksheets and ask the following processing questions.
PROCESSING QUESTIONS:
