23. NOTE: Install all the bolts finger tight before final tightening.
1. Torque: 38 lb.ft (51 Nm)

24. NOTICE:

Make sure that the exhaust flexible pipe is not forcibly bent or twisted.

Make sure that the catalytic converter is supported with suitable retaining straps.

25. NOTE: Be prepared to collect escaping fluid.

NOTE: The oil drain plug with O-ring seal is to be reused unless damaged.

removing the cylinder head bolts.

Installation

1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

2. NOTICE:

Make sure that no fluids are present in the cylinder head bolt threaded bores.

Make sure that new bolts are installed.

Torque:
Stage 1:44 lb.in (5 Nm)
Stage 2:133 lb.in (15 Nm)
Stage 3:26 lb.ft (35 Nm)
Stage 4:75°

3. NOTE: The oil drain plug with O-ring seal is to be reused unless damaged.
Torque: 21 lb.ft (28 Nm)

4. NOTE: Make sure that a new component is installed.

Material: WSS-M2C913-C (Engine Oil - SAE 5W-30)
Torque: 133 lb.in (15 Nm)

Make sure that the engine oil is to specification.

Make sure that fluid level is to the MAX mark.
