Lesson 1
Administrative Laws:
1. Licensing -relating to the granting of an official license.
2. Vehicle Registration- Motor vehicle registration is the registration of a
motor vehicle with a government authority,
3. Securing a Title: - Original vehicle title showing sole ownership
Licenses Violations:
1. Suspension: A suspended driver's license means your license is temporarily out of
service
2. Revoked:  means your license has been fully canceled and cannot be reinstated
3. Points Violation> Visit the DDS.ga.gov website
Ownership of Vehicle:
1. Title: a document issued by your state's DMV or Secretary of State.
2. Registration: the registration of a motor vehicle with a government authority,
3. Insurance: 2 Types – Liability
Lesson 2
Right of way: who has the right to go first
1. Uniform Vehicle Code:
2. What is Right of Way? the legal right of a pedestrian, vehicle, or ship to proceed with
precedence over others in a particular situation or place.
3. When should I yield the Right of Way? The vehicle who actually reached the
intersection last is the driver who must yield the right of way. If you reach the intersection
at the same time, the driver on the left should yield the right of way.
4. Minimize your Risk: Failure
Move over law (GA): requires motorists to: Move over to the next lane if safely possible. If
unable to move over, then slow down below the speed limit and be prepared to stop.

Bus Law (GA): when school buses stop for passengers in a two-lane roadway, all traffic from
both directions must stop. In two-lane roadways with a center turning lane, all traffic from both
directions must stop when the bus stops for passengers.

Lesson 3

1. List three types of speed limits:


1. absolute
2.presumed

3.basic

2. What is the Basic Speed Rule? You must never drive faster than is safe for present
conditions, regardless of the posted speed limit.

3. In what circumstances would a posted speed limit not be reasonable? Whether


conditions, pedestrians present, unpredictable pedestrians, children.

Lesson 4
Define:
1. Implied and Consent -not expressly granted by a person, but rather implicitly
granted by a person's actions and the facts and circumstances of a particular situation.

2. Aggressive Driving- driving with an aggressive demeanor

3. Vehicular Homicide- a life being taken that has something to do with


using a vehicle

4. Illegal Per Se Law- the act is inherently illegal. Thus, an act is illegal without


extrinsic proof of any surrounding circumstances such as lack of scienter

5. Reckless Driving- driving without being careful
