At the end of the lesson, students should be able to:
a. Identify grammatical signals used in a sentence/s;
b. Understand the difference and relationship between cause and effect;
c. Identify the cause and effect in a selection thru grammatical signals;
d. Use appropriate grammatical signals/expressions suitable to the pattern of
idea development: cause-effect;
e. Differentiate the story: Yeh-Shen: A Cinderella Story from China to other
Cinderella story
II. Subject Matter
A. Preparation
Class, let’s all stand and put ourselves in
