(Case Analysis on Kantian Ethics)
Instruction:
Case: The Philippines is entitled to an exclusive economic zone in the West Philippine Sea which is
already occupied by China. As President of the Philippines, how will you make yourself guided by the
basic principles of Kantian ethics in asserting our rights to our exclusive economic zone in the West
Philippine Sea? Answer in not more than 300 words.

In defending our rights to the west Philippine sea, as president of the Philippines, I shall act in
accordance with the fundamentals of Kantian ethics. I'll start by speaking with the west Philippine Sea
I expert. How things work and what to do. In order to ensure the safety of our subordinates, I will also
request a meeting with the leader of China to discuss our rights in the West Philippine Sea and how to
prevent war between the two parties.
