1. What is mental health? Why does it matter to advocate and address mental
health issues?
Mental health, just like physical health, is crucial throughout all stages of
life, from childhood through adolescent to maturity. Taking care of one's mental
health might help them maintain their ability to enjoy life. To do so, you must strike
a balance between your daily activities, duties, and efforts to build psychological
resilience. As a result, raising awareness or advocating and addressing mental
health issues is important because raising mental health awareness makes it
easier to identify and treat those who are suffering from mental illness. It is evident
that mental health is important regardless of one's age or background. However,
the stigma attached to it prevents many from seeking treatment or even talking
about their problems. That is why it is important to advocate for mental health, it
provides support by assisting others in being heard and defending their rights.
Mental health Advocates share their personal stories to show that we are not
alone. Advocates work to address misunderstandings and stereotypes regarding
mental illnesses, raise awareness, and assist the general public recognize that
people with mental illnesses are just people.
