1. Inauguration of Electronics Association
Inauguration
Date: 02-10-2021
Time: 10.00 am

Participants: Students and faculties from ECE
departments, Faculties from other departments,

INTRODUCTION
The department of Electronics and communication of Marian
Engineering College was established in the year 2001 with the
primary objective of imparting quality education and training
in the various areas of electronics and communication, thereby
moulding the students into competent professionals. And the
department is also promising a vigilant set of brilliant students
to the society. And today our department is achieving 20 years
of grand success. The session begins by the welcome speech of
Ms. Vinitha B. Elza, HOD, ECE Department. The event was
officially inaugurated through Online meet by the chief guest,
Ms. SharanyaNair in the presence of other dignitaries of our
college. The event has made more wonderful by our guest.
Her experiences with the subject and a session about the new
technologies adopted in the real time world made the moment
inevitable for every participant.

SUMMARY

The session was all about Ms. Sharanya Nair’s technical


experience in working with new technologies along with her
motivational words. It was purely a technical class that
motivated all students for learning new technology in the field
of graphic designing. She explained her Core strengths that
include, beyond the box thinking and creativity, sketching,
graphic design, 3d rendering and presenting the ideas and
concepts in a proficient way. She is handling the role of lead
Cmf/Graphic designer for the TVS Scooter line up including
Scooty Pep, Scooty Zest, Wego , Jupiter and Ntorq.
Along with this she has mentioned about the real time
applications in automobile industries and new opportunities.
Her motivational class brings a new spirit that keeps us to
move consistently.
CONCLUSION
The event has ended up with lots of new expectations and
better performance on the succeeding years and the technical
knowledge cum inspirational speech from the chief guest and
other dignitaries was inevitable and memorable one.
The president of ECE Association, Mr. D. Sabrish (S7T)
delivered the Vote of Thanks at the end of the session.

INTRODUCTION

The Department of Electronics and Communication of Marian


Engineering College was established in the year 2001 with the
primary objective of imparting quality education and training in the
various areas of Electronics and Communication, thereby moulding
the students into competent professionals. The department is also
promising a vigilant set of brilliant students to the society. The
department has done a lot of brainstorming sessions and interactions
with school students to bring a remarkable change to the upcoming
ignited minds. As a part of this journey we have conducted a session
in our college by inviting a number of school students from various
parts of the city. The event was basically organized to bring a
technical awareness and a good start to the future engineers. The event
started with a prayer song and a welcoming address by Rev. Msgr.
Wilfred.E, Manager MCE followed by a motivation speech by
Dr.Manoj, HOD ,MCE. An experience sharing glimpses by our senior
students made the moment inevitable for every participant.
SUMMARY
The department of Electronics and Communication had
arranged an exhibition, to introduce the electronic
technologies and ideas relevant to the field of electronics.
The exhibition includes 7 mini projects by using the basic
electronic components which are familiar to the school
students. Each project was arranged with one or two
volunteers to guide the students and to explain the concepts
to the students, as simple as they could. The participants
were the higher secondary school students from various
parts of the city.
Apart from this we had also concentrated to give a keen
idea about the exciting top most technologies in the world
of electronics and their necessities which made the session
more alive. The students were so curious to learn each
circuit we had shown to them. The students were also
provided with enough leisure time to enjoy the campus
beauty.
OTHER THOUGHTS SHARED

 To find their affinity towards engineering.


 To opt an engineering stream based on their interest
ofarea.
 Basic knowledge of science and maths subjects
requiredfor engineering.
 Future scopes.
 And also shared our wonderful quote-

“LIVE YOUR LIFE TO THE FULLEST SUCCESS IS ALL ABOUT


CHANGING YOUR VISION”

CONCLUSION

The event concluded with lots of new expectations and


better performance on the succeeding years and also we
believe that the technical knowledge cum inspirational
speech we delivered to the school students will definitely
pay a way to ignite their minds with new thoughts.
