EESA - Activity Report
ABOUT EESA
Electrical Engineering Students‟ Association (EESA) is a student
organization pioneered in technical activities, founded by U. Gudaru. It is the first and
foremost established club at WCE, Sangli. It is active since 1976, with the concept of the
founder, guidance of staff advisor, an executive row of third year students with the guidance
of final year students and full-fledged support of first year and second year students
together enhances the power of EESA.
VISION:
To create opportunities for everyone connected for enhancing their technical and soft skills,
to make them a better person and a functional engineer.
MISSION:
To empower every students of Electrical Engineering in WCE, to achieve their goals by
their personal growth.

Semester I
Weekly Club Services
Semester II
EESA club engages every Monday with Technical sessions, which improves one‟s
technical knowledge and non-technical sessions such as Group Discussions, Debates,
Group Building activities, etc, which help students to improve different personality and
professional skills and use them for their own betterment.
Club services are the platform for students to share their knowledge, clear doubts, share
ideas, involve in social and technical discussions and put forth their point of view in the
topic. The club services are lead by Club Service Directors along with other board as well as
non-board members.
Future of Electrical Engineering „ was the first Technical event of EESA. The basic motive of
this event was to introduce areas where electrical engineering has wide career opportunities.
The four informative technical topics were described. The first one was Hyperloop, in this
topic the whole structure and the function of hyperloop was explained.
The second session was based on Wireless Power Transmission which was well elaborated
with its history, working principle, and applications. The next session explicated types,
functions, and future scope of Electric Vehicles. The technical informative session
concluded with a session named Fuel Cell Vehicle which described how electricity is
generated, its feasibility, and drawbacks. In the end, there was a debate session „War of
Currents„.The debate was basically based on AC v/s DC topic. In a nutshell, the technical
event was really excellent and all the sessions were completed in time.
The QUARANTEAM
EESA‟s First Virtual club service held on 6 Aug, 2020.
The first Club service of the year 2020 – 21 was held on 6 – Aug – 2020. This club service
was started at exactly 5.10 pm and held on Google meet platform. The numbers of
participants were approximately 42.
The club service started with an informative session: Highlighted facts of lockdown.
As the name suggests, the session gave information about the events that happen during the
lockdown. It was followed by the Aptitude session: Analogical and Reasoning. The aptitude
session was interactive as well as interesting. After the aptitude session, there was a technical
session. The technical session gave us information about Relays. It was well explained, and
we got to learn about the basics of relays. It was followed by group building activity:
Thought – Melodrama. The participants were divided into three groups and there were four
rounds. It was a totally fun activity and everyone enjoyed it.Though the club service was held
on a virtual platform, it was executed well. The club service was concluded by vice –
president‟s desk at 6.15 pm. Everything went as per plan. Overall club service was good.
MATTERMIND
EESA‟s Second Virtual club service held on 24 Aug, 2020
This was the second virtual CS of EESA. The main focus of CS was to interact with
ourselves and make active participation in all activities. This was achieved at the start of CS
where participants told how they spent the last week and now as the Ganesh festival is going
on, some of them told how they are celebrating this Ganesh festival.
After that there was the most refreshing GBA: Hilarious Poster wherein a poster of different
memes was provided and we have to make a story using it. Four teams formed in the
breakout rooms namely, Atmanirbhar, Kuchbhi, Fursat, and Binod. Each team came up with
hilarious and funny stories which made each of us laugh. This activity offered an amusement
in the horde. Then there was an announcement of a new event of making memes for
enhancing our creativity. At last, the President concluded the CS by adding a couple of
points to respective sessions

Name : PRAVAAH (The Flow Of Ideas)
General interest meet is an orientation meeting organized for the newly admitted First Year
students. We introduce the students with the department and its various staff members, with a
departmental tour, followed by a fun session where the first years get to know about EESA
through various activities organized for them.
The GIM was conducted by the Assistant Board. This session was started at 4:00 pm on
digital platform Google-Meet. The theme of GIM was Women‟s Day.

TECHNOCRAT’21 POSTER

NIRMANAM

It is non technical and a fun event specially designed for the first year students of degree
domain and all the students of diploma domain. The goal of the event was to introduce the
students to the business world. The event included all the aspects of brand formation. This
event could inculcate and check knowledge, imagination, spontaneity, teamwork, discipline,
professional skills, and creativity and could develop all round personality of the participants.
It had three rounds.
Round 1: The first round was based on solving questions both objective and descriptive
type based on the finance, startups, brands.
Round 2: The second round was regarding brand creation and advertising for the brand.
Participants learnt the traits for a brand creation and how to advertise it.
Round 3: The final round was based on the merging of various brands, where participants
had to form their new strategy.
NIRMANAM POSTER
TECHNOBLITZ :

It was a technical event specially designed for students belonging to the electrical and
electronics domain. The event had Novice and Expert categories. This event could test the
circuit building ability as well as the technical knowledge of the students. The participants
could built-up their imagination skills as well as their technical abilities. It had three
rounds.
Round 1: The first round was a basic MCQ format-based technicalaptitude test.
Round 3: For the Final round, Novice category participants had to give a presentation on
the provided technical topics while expert category students had to solve and provide
circuit simulation of the given problem statement.
TECHNOBLITZ POSTER
DAY:2
WALCHAND MUN:
No. of entries:- 12 Teams
Walchand MUN was designed to give students simulation of Model United Nations.
This event was created to provide the participants with experience regarding
understanding the issues of different countries and solving them. The event tested
participants debating, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Round 1: In the first round, participants were assigned countries and an agenda to create a
report based on the agenda.
Round 2: The second round was moderated caucus which is a form of a debate between
delegates of various countries.
Round 3: The final round was an unmoderated caucus where delegates were allowed to
converse freely and also form unions between them. They were different iterations and
different unions.
Meme Challenge :
This activity was conducted in club to improve the creativity of students. Memes are very
trendy so with a twist it was conductedto create memes related to electrical.

1. TECHNOCRAT 2019
TECHNOCRAT is a state-level technical symposium arranged by Electrical Engineering
Students‟ Association (EESA). This event is organized each year with the focus to give
students irrespective of their departments and colleges a biased platform to showcase their
skill and a chance to share their technical knowledge will be helpful to apply this
knowledge in practical life.

2. Corporate social Responsibility Activity by EESA
This year club had organized a one day event to visit the home of AIDS affected children
„DILASA BHAVAN‟ on 7th of April, 2019. The activity was completely organized and
undertaken by the assistant board students of academic year 2019-20 along with the
guidance of joint and chief board of the club and the support of the staff advisor, head of
the department and the other faculty members.

This is an activity specially conducted for the first-year students so that they get to interact
