SSLG Resolution 2023-2024
WHERE AS, Article XVIII known as the Finance of the REVISED CONSTITUTION AND
BY-LAWS OF THE SSG Section 7 states that the SSG shall enjoy the freedom to determine its
priorities in the disbursement of its funds, provided that it shall be actually, directed, and
exclusively used to support and/or finance the SSG programs, projects and activities;
WHERE AS, the Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG) prepared the way of
acquiring of the chair covers and sunshade nets with the help and recommendation of the school
head;
WHERE AS, this resolution will help to lessen the burden on the students to pledge money for
the chair covers and will help the students in the day of the graduation by providing comfort and
shade on their graduation day;
WHERE AS, this resolution will able the Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG) to
provide an alternative way to lessen the hassle of the students and the school to find rentals;
NOW THEREFORE, on motion the SSLG Treasurer Hon. Regine Khate G. Lastimoso and
duly seconded by the SSLG Secretary Hon. Mary Gold G. Diano and unanimously approved by
the members, be it;

WHERE AS, Section 6 Article III known as the Declaration of Principles and Policies, states
that the Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG), shall have the objective to help
students develop self-confidence, critical thinking, problem solving, decision making and
learning among the student body and to utilize these skills in contributing towards nation
building;
WHERE AS, Article VII known as the Powers, Duties and Responsibilities of the SSG/SPG
Section 2.8 states that the SSG is to make recommendations to school authorities regarding
student matters, affairs, and activities;
WHERE AS, Section 5 of Article XVIII known as the Finance of the SSG/SPG may undertake
fund-raising activities to subsidize its projects and activities as long as it will not affect the
integrity of the SSG/SPG;
WHERE AS, this resolution will help students to socialize, build connections, and promote
inclusiveness;
WHERE AS, this resolution will able the Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG) to
create booths available to everyone inside the school campus and will help the organization to
raise funds that may be needed for upcoming projects or activities in the coming months;
NOW THEREFORE, on motion of the SSLG Vice President Hon. Lady Mavil G. Ferras and
duly seconded by the SSLG Auditor Hon. Rheazel L. Silao and unanimously approved by the
members, be it;

organizations in the school;
WHERE AS, Section 2.16 of the same article states that the SSG has the power, duty and
responsibility to recommend to the School Head the granting, renewal or revocation of
accreditation of campus student organizations;
WHERE AS, students have the chance to join clubs to improve their potential, talents, and
leadership skills in a particular area;
WHERE AS, this resolution will help to build their passion when it comes to leading and
serving their purpose;
NOW THEREFORE, on motion of the SSLG Secretary Hon. Mary Gold G. Diano and duly
seconded by the SSLG Treasurer Hon. Regine Khate G. Lastimoso and unanimously approved
by the members, be it;
