KB 2 Poster and Banner

1. Poster is a media that is used to convey a


message or information
2. Generic structure of poster are header
area, title area, author’s photo and
address, main area, footer area,
background, fonts
3. Banner is an advertisement placed on a
website (above/below ads), in a text or
graphic images.
4. Function of banner is an announcement
to see
5. Generic structure of banner are logo,
value proposition, body copy, image, call
to action (CTA)
6. Social/language function: to alert and
engage the viewer/ to challenge and call
an audience into action/to promote an
event

text elements, use phrases and active

1. Graphic organizer is a visual and graphic
display that depicts the relationships
between facts, terms, and or ideas within
a learning task
2. Generic structure of graphic organizer
are titles/headings, specific info/location,
short description
3. One of the goals of using graphic
organizers is to make learner focus on
the connections between information
4. Social function: tools for critical and
creative thinking, organizing information,
understanding information and
relationships, self-learning, depict
knowledge and understanding
