 SANCR should be reply to SAPID within 48 hours & RC, CA & PA will be given within 48
Hours

CALIBRATION LIMIT:

 PSV calibration validity 1 week & as per new standard 2 weeks


 Gauges calibration should be valid 1 month from the date of tested
 All gauges’ range should be 30% ~ 80% of the test pressure
 PSV limit set @ 5% of the test Pressure
 Manifold Calibration should be 5years (60 Months)

VALVES

 SAES-L-108: Selection of Valves


 SAEP-35: Valve Handling, Storage, Hauling, Testing
 04-SAMMS-035: General Requirements for Valves
 04-SAMMS-048: Valve Inspection & Testing
 API-598: Valve Testing
 All Valves shall be handle with care as per manufacturer recommendation
 Valves shall be preserved

 Valves open ends shall be close with wooden plank with 4 equal bolts to prevent any
debris or water inside
 Valves shall be tested before installation
 Valves long term preservation inspection to be done every 3 months and end cover,
grease and rust prevent lubricant shall be apply as per manufacturer recommendation
 Valves body and seat test to be done as per manufacturer recommendation & API
598/SAMSS-048
 Fist Test holding time shall be 5 minutes, 2nd 15 minutes of to be follow the procedure
 After testing valves shall be dried and lay up accordance with approved lay-up
procedure/manufacturer recommendation

1. MATERIAL RECEIVING:
 Documents required for material receiving,
 To be follow SA-175 to check the material,
 PO, MR, DN, MTC, NMR 601~603, approved vendor list, IRN, Regulated vendor list
 If valve Data Sheet required.
2. BENDING:
 Bending procedure should be approved
 Bending machine should be calibrated & valid
 Gauge plate should be prepared as per SAES-L-450 Para 11.7 (97.5% of ID)
 Bite space should be as per SAIC-L-2114 Appendix B Attachment B1
 After bending pipe diameter should not reduce more than 2 ½ % of NPD
 Bends shall not be made 600 mm from the edge of pipe.
3. LOWERING:
 All Strings to be welded as per SAES-L-450 and length should be 900 mtr to 1200 mtr

4. TEMPERATURE TIE IN:
 Tie in procedure should be approved

 Both strings length should be more than 450 mtr & backfilled

 3 days’ temperature should be monitored


 String should not lift with side booms
 RFI to be raise before 24 hours of the fit-up & welding

Pre-Commissioning Stage

 Cleaning & gauging procedure should be approved by SAPMT


 Hydrotest procedure should be approved by PTSD
 Lay-up procedure should be approved PTSD/CTU/ME/CCU/CSD
 All gauges & PSVs should be calibrated
 All approved procedure should be available at site
 Hydrotest package should be review & approved by SAPID
 All “YES” items should be close
 Pre Test punch list to be done.

5. HYDROTEST PACKAGE CONTENT:

6. CLEANING & GUAGUNG:

 Install the scraper launcher & receiver to run the pigs


 Type of Pigs
 Poly Pig
 BI-DI Brush Pig
 BI-DI Magnetic Pig
 Note: Poly pig Dia will be more than internal Dia of the pipe up to 4” to 6”
 Brush Dia shall be same of the pipe ID & Magnetic pig shall be less than Pipe ID.

7. WATER FILLING:

 Water analysis report shall be complying SAIC-A-2008 & SATR-A-2014


 Water Analysis report shall be available at site with hydrotest & Lay-Up Procedure
 Water Test to be conduct (SRB, Chloride & PH Value to check before filling)
 In test headers to be loaded the 2 By Die pigs
 Pigs will push air out from the pipeline
 2 Thermo-Couple will be install at every 5/6 Km to monitor the temperature before
pressurizing & difference should be less than 1 degree.
 Note: These 2 pigs will help to stop air inside the pipeline

8. START PRESSURISING FOR HYDROTEST

 Pressurizing will start stage by stage as specified below,

9. DEWATERING:

 Depressurizing to be done stage by stage (40% then 100%)


 3rd pig to be run to transfer the water from other end.

10. SWEPING & DRYING:

 Swapping: To run by Die with dry air to achieve -1-degree dew point
 Drying: To run foam pig with dry air till arrive

11. CALIPER RUN:

 Caliper run pig with sensor will run with dry air to detect the any dent, damage or other
problems in the pipeline.

12. LAY-UP:

 Chemical Cleaning: As per approved procedure chemical cleaning to achieve -1-degree


dew point.
