Seat Belt reminder for occupants

The seatbelt remains the single-most important item of safety equipment in the car.
Front Seatbelts
• If the driver or front passenger have not fastened their seat belt
after 6 seconds and the doors are closed, the warning lamp
lights up

• If the driver's seat belt is not fastened after the engine is

started, an additional warning tone will sound. The warning tone
goes out after the driver's/co-driver seat belt is fastened

Rear Seatbelts

• The seat belt warning lamp in the instrument display is a

reminder that all vehicle occupants must wear their seat belts

• In addition, a warning tone may sound incase the rear

passengers unfasten their seat belt while the vehicle is in
motion
