TROPHY DRAGON

Head/Horns: Super Bulky Yarn (Bernat Blanket 115g) / 6.5mm Hook
Horns/Spikes: Bulky Yarn (Chenille Home Slim 45g) / 5mm Hook
Accents: Medium Yarn (Red Heart Super Saver) / 2.25mm Hook
28mm/30mm Eyes
Polyfil Stuffing
Sewing Needle
Scissors
Plaque (7" by 9"), Screw Hooks and Hangers
Optional: Felt, Glue Gun, 3D Printed Horns, Superglue

This crochet piece is unsafe for children due to its many parts - which present

a choking hazard if they detach. There is the potential for the piece to come

loose making it unsafe for areas with young children in reach.

TERMINOLOGY
mr: magic ring
sl st: slip stitch
ch: chain
sc: single crochet
inc: single crochet increase (2 sc in 1 st)
dec: single crochet decrease (sc 2 sts together)
flo: front loop only
(#): number of stitches at the end of the round
[_]: repeat
FO: finish off
BB: bobble stitch (Yarn over, insert hook into the stitch. Pull up stitch. Yarn over
and draw through two loops. Repeat this until you have 5 loops on your hook.

Grab inner nose and sandwich the two pieces together.
Crochet them at the same time going through both loops of
the head piece and the flo of the inner nose piece for the next

round.

Once attached, push BB stitches to the outside and use your


hands to reinforce nose shape.

EYE SHAPING
If using sinker eyes skip this step
1. Use 2ft of medium yarn to enter through 5. Push needle out to where we started
the middle back of the head

2. Come out next to eye 6. The yarn should be over top of the eyes

3. Go back into head on other side of eye 7. Pull very tight on both ends to indent eyes

4. Push needle to other side of head, repeat previous step 8. Tie knot and hide ends
