Sweater was designed with a round neck, cropped body, ¾ length for sleeves and oversized fit for comfortable wear.
Lace pattern on the yoke and sleeves gives this sweater light and airy look.
This sweater was designed for thick cotton yarn to wear during warm days and would be perfect for light

Pattern notes
Sweater is worked top down seamlessly in the round with raglan increases on the yoke.
Once the yoke is ready, sleeves stitches are placed on hold and the body continues to work in the round to
the hem. Optionally - a few short rows are worked after the yoke is ready to shape back longer for better
fit. Sleeves are worked in the round after the body is ready. Both sleeves and body are finished with
delicate half twisted ribbing. The length of body and sleeves can be easily adjusted to desired length.
The number in parentheses refers to corresponding size: if only one number appears, it applies to all sizes.
Left and right sides refer to the side of the garment as if you wear it.
All measurements in the pattern are given after blocking.
Please read the entire pattern before starting your project.

Directions
Neckline
With smaller needles CO 90 (96, 96, 102, 108, 108, 114) sts using long-tail cast-on or your preferred cast-on
method. Join to work in the rnd making sure not to twist sts. Place BORm.
Start to work 2x1 half twisted ribbing as follows:
Rnd 1: *p2, k1 tbl; rep from * around.
Repeat Rnd 1 – approx 7 Rnds / 3cm / 1.25’’ or work to desired neckline length.

Yoke
Change to larger needles.
Work Set-up increase round as follows:
Set-up rnd (Inc): *k3, M1R; rep from * around. (note: you can work any preferred increases in this rnd)
30 (32, 32, 34, 36, 36, 38) sts inc’d - 120 (128, 128, 136, 144, 144, 152) sts on the needle.
Start to work lace pattern as follows:
Rnds 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 11: purl all sts around;
Rnds 2, 10: *p2tog, yo; rep from * around;
Rnds 4, 8: knit all sts around;
Rnd 6: *yo, p2tog; rep from * around;
You work the lace pattern for 11 rnds in total.
Place markers for raglan increases as follows:
Next rnd: * k14 (16, 16, 18, 18, 18, 20) sleeve sts, pm, k46 (48, 48, 50, 54, 54, 56) front /back sts, pm; rep
from * one more time. Do not place the last marker, it’s already placed as BORm.
Now you have 4 markers indicating raglan increases (including BORm).
Markers are placed between two raglan sts.
BORm placed at the right back shoulder.
Continue to work as established and working raglan increases as follows:
Rnd 1 (Inc): *k1, m1L, knit to 1 st before next m, m1R, k1, sm; rep from * three more times to BORm; (8 sts inc’ d);
Rnd 2: knit all sts around, sm as you go;
Rep Rnds 1, 2 – 14 (16, 18, 20, 21, 23, 26) times in total – 28 (32, 36, 40, 42, 46, 52) rnds,
232 (256, 272, 296, 312, 328, 360) sts on the needle - 42 (48, 52, 58, 60, 64, 72) sts for each sleeve and
74 (80, 84, 90, 96, 100, 108) sts for front and back.

Divide for body and sleeves

Remove all markers and divide piece for body and sleeves as follows:
Dividing Rnd: Remove BORm, place next 42 (48, 52, 58, 60, 64, 72) right sleeve sts on hold using scrap yarn
or stitch holder, remove m, CO 3 (4, 5, 5, 5, 6, 6) underarm sts using backward loop cast-on, place BORm,
CO 3 (4, 5, 5, 5, 6, 6) underarm sts using backward loop cast-on, k74 (80, 84, 90, 96, 100, 108) front sts, remove
m, place next 42 (48, 52, 58, 60, 64, 72) left sleeve sts on hold using scrap yarn or stitch holder, remove m,
CO 3 (4, 5, 5, 5, 6, 6) underarm sts using backward loop cast-on, place side m, CO 3 (4, 5, 5, 5, 6, 6) underarm
sts using backward loop cast-on, knit back sts to BORm.
note: you do not need to place the side marker if you skip working short rows section for the back.

Short rows back section

This section is worked optionally. You can skip it and move to the body part.
The few short rows are worked to shape the back longer for better fit.
German Short rows are used in this part. (see video tutorial above)
Next rnd: knit all sts around to last 5 sts, turn work;
Short row 1 (WS): ds, purl to 5 sts before side m, turn work,
Short row 2: ds, knit to ds, knit ds as one st, k1, turn work;
Short row 3: ds, purl to ds, purl ds as one st, p1, turn work;
Repeat Short rows 2, 3 – three more times (four times in total).
After the last short row turns to RS, ds, knit to BORm, resolving the ds (=knit as one st).
Resolve the last ds in next body rnd, remove the side marker and continue to work body.

Body
160 (176, 188, 200, 212, 224, 240) sts on the needles.
Continue to work in St st until body measures 23 (23, 23, 24, 24, 25, 25) cm / 9.0 (9.0, 9.0, 9.5, 9.5, 9.75, 9.75)’’
from underarm or adjust the length working 5 cm / 2.0’’ less than your desired length.
Change to smaller needles.
Knit one round and randomly decrease 7 (8, 8, 8, 8, 8, 9) sts.
153 (168, 180, 192, 204, 216, 231) sts rem on the needle.
Work in 2x1 half twisted ribbing (p2, k1 tbl) for 11 rnds / 5 cm / 2’’ or work to desired rib length.
Bind off all sts in pat loosely or use your preferred stretchy bind off method.

Sleeves
You can work sleeves one by one using dpns or work them one or two at a time using magic loop method.
Place 42 (48, 52, 58, 60, 64, 72) sleeve sts back on larger needles.
Join working yarn in the middle of underarm.
Set-up rnd: pick up and knit 3 (4, 5, 5, 5, 6, 6) underarm sts, pick up and knit 1 st between underarm and
sleeve sts to prevent hole, k42 (48, 52, 58, 60, 64, 72) sleeve sts, pick up and knit 1 st between sleeve sts
and underarm sts to prevent hole, pick up and knit 3 (4, 5, 5, 5, 6, 6) underarm sts, place BORm;
Join to work in the rnd.

Work in 2x1 half twisted ribbing (p2, k1 tbl) for 11 rnds / 5 cm / 2’’ or work to desired rib length.
Bind off all sts in pat loosely or use your preferred stretchy bind off method.
Repeat for the second sleeve if you work one sleeve at a time.
