The Database Model Access to the data resource is controlled by a database management system (DBMS). The DBMS is a special software system that is programmed to know which data elements each user is authorized to access. The most popular example of a database model is the relational model, which uses a table-based format. The REA Model Resources, Events and Agents (basic data collected) The data are collected and stores in a database that can be used to provide reports and financial statements.
