PROBLEM STATEMENT

1 . A study to assess the compliance of staff


nurses to intrahospital transportation protocol
for critically ill patients in Sapthagiri hospital
Bangalore
OBJECTIVES

 To assess the knowledge of staff nurses regrading intrahospital


transportation of critically ill patients
 To compare the knowledge with compliance of staff nurses on
intrahospital transportation of critically ill patients .
 To find the association between knowledge and compliance with
selected sociodemographic variables on intrahospital
transportation .
METHODOLOGY

 Research design for the study was non experimental exploratory research
design .
 The population consists of staff nurses who are working in the ICU , OT ,
HDU , and emergency departments of Sapthagiri hospital .
 Sample size consists of staff nurses working in ICU , OT , HDU , and
emergency departments i,e . 50
 The tool for data collection is closed ended structured questionnaire .

teaching programme on knowledge regrading
early ambulation of patient after cardiac surgery
among staff nurses working in cardiac surgical
care unit in Sapthagiri hospital Bangalore .
Objectives

 To determine the level of knowledge among staff nurse regrading early


ambulation of patient after cardiac surgery .
 To evaluate the effectiveness of structured teaching programme on level
of knowledge regrading early ambulation of patient with cardiac
surgery .
 To find out the association between levels of knowledge regrading early
ambulation of patients with cardiac surgery among staff nurses In
cardiac surgical care unit with their selected demographic variables
METHODOLOGY

 Research design is pre experimental one group pre test , post test
design is the most appropriate design
 Population consists of staff nurses working in cardiac surgical care
unit of Sapthagiri hospital
 Sample size is 50
 The tool for the study is closed ended structured questionnaire .

teaching program on knowledge regrading BASIC
LIFE SUPPORT among student nurses of 1st year
Bsc nursing in Sapthagiri college of nursing
Bangalore .
OBJECTIVES

 To assess the existing level of knowledge and practice regrading


BASIC LIFE SUPPORT among nursing students
 To evaluate the effect of planned teaching program on knowledge
and practice regrading Basic Life Support
 To find the association of knowledge between the selected
demographic variables.
METHODOLOGY

 Research design for the study was pre experimental using random
sampling technique .
 Population for the study included all the 1st Bsc nursing students .
 Sample size is 100
 The tool for the data collection is structured questionnaire regrading
knowledge of Basic Life Support
