How To Avoid and Prepare Tsunami: Prepared By: Group 12

A tsunami is a series of waves caused by the displacement of water, often triggered by earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, landslides or other disturbances under water. To prepare for a tsunami, people should go to higher ground away from rivers or streams leading to the ocean if warned. It's also important to have emergency supplies stockpiled like food, water and medications to last at least 72 hours. Proper preparation includes making an emergency kit, learning evacuation plans and routes, and familiarizing yourself with local tsunami protocols, especially if visiting an area.
