“The Effectiveness of Information Revolution to Learning Capability of the Students”

Today, in the age of digital technology, where nearly all is high-tech, computer technologies
have changed immensely and have improved. Today, the information technology market is rapidly
increasing and developing. Along with this rise and progress in information technologies, there are
people who immediately respond to change. The reason why computer technologies are being invented
is to help make life easier for people and to change their way of life, particularly for students. New
computer technologies make it easy for students to learn and have fun. With technological changes,
student learning patterns have changed drastically. The way lessons are taught, students study
concepts, and the way knowledge is delivered is influenced. Gone are the days of slaving books in the
library and taking notes on paper. Technology is built to make life easy for people. It's a gateway for
students to understand and learn. The use of technology in education is also intended to improve
student learning and to make the school atmosphere a place where students want to be, because it
makes learning experience enjoyable. As we shift into the 21st century, technology has become
profoundly important to our community. Computers are getting more inexpensive and a lot of people
rely to computers to support them in their everyday lives. Since technologies are getting cheaper to buy,
schools have been willing to purchase more computers for their students. When more and more
computers are being bought, there is an increasing need for technological education. What are the
advantages of technology for the students? There are several ways students can benefit from
technology. Among the advantages listed down below are:

Resources; the Internet enables students to access almost all material that is freely accessible from the
convenience of their homes. There's no reason to drive or even go to a library. Books are scanned on the
Internet, museums are accessible online, and academic journals can also be sourced. Speed; Students
can now access information in a much quicker way. If the source has been found, they will easily scan
the whole text by typing a keyword instead of trying to dig at the index of the book. Mathematical
equations can also be done on special applications, thus graphs can be plotted immediately. Sharing;
information can now be exchanged with staff and students in a far more efficient way. Schools may set
up online portals where students can download the appropriate files or, respectively, send them by
email. Students should print them out as needed. It cannot be emphasized enough that technology is
ideal for education. The incorporation of this phenomenon into the knowledge-sharing and learning
environment has made it more fun and engaging.
