Objectives:
On successful completion of the module, students will be able to:
1. be familiarized with the basic Japanese vocabulary;
2. introduce themselves in Japanese;
3. negate positive sentences;
4. convert present tense sentences into past tense;
5. write declarative and interrogative sentences in Nihongo;
6. translate words and sentences from English to Nihongo and Nihongo
to English; and
7. display courtesy and respect in conversing using Nihongo
