I. LEARNING OBJECTIVES
At the end of the lesson, the students must be able to:
A. use primary and secondary sources to expand the content of an outline;
B. create a more detailed outline based on their notes from primary and
secondary sources; and
C. appreciate the importance of using primary and secondary sources in
expanding your paragraph.

PICK ME UP
Direction: The teacher will present set of sources under primary
and secondary sources. The students are tasks to pick up the sources
that does not belong to the classification it is placed and put it in its
appropriate classification.
C. Lesson Proper
1. The teacher will discuss how to expand the content of an outline using primary and
secondary sources.
2. Encourage students participation by letting them identify what information should be
placed on the outline.
3. Let the students create a paragraph based on the outline presented.
4. Let the students ask questions and clarifications if there are any.
D. Generalization
1. What is your take for today’s lesson?
2. Give the importance of using primary and secondary sources in expanding your
paragraph.
IV. APPLICATION
The teacher will present a short paragraph and the students are task to
organize the information on the format of the outline provided.
V. EVALUATION
The teacher will present an outline about learning modalities. The
students are task to expand and complete the outline given using primary and
secondary sources.
VI. AGREEMENT
Study and review the previous lesson about outlining and sources of
information.
