Performance Task

General Instructions:
1. This task is accomplished per group. Your teacher will be assigning you to a group in your section.
Please COOPERATE and COORDINATE with your groupmates.
2. Each member will be given a task to create the group’s product. (i.e. scriptwriter, video editor,
presenter etc.).
3. Be creative, resourceful and precise about the content of your work in terms of information.
4. You can use any format you desire (i.e. news format or infomercial).
5. Your group’s work will be graded based on the performance rubric with the following criteria
concept, script, content/organization, quality, teamwork, timeliness.

PERFORMANCE STANDARD: The learner is able to conduct a forum on mitigation and disaster
risk reduction.

SITUATION: You are invited to conduct a forum on the mitigation and disaster risk reduction in road
safety.

GOAL: The students on their own and in the long run will have knowledge and understanding of the
motion of an object in terms of distance or displacement, speed or velocity, and acceleration.
ROLE: Consider you are a Chief Officer in the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority.

PRODUCT: Create a 2—minute video presentation that will explain the


importance of knowing motion descriptors in road safety.
