(b) Find the maximum and minimum values of 3√2 cos(𝜃 + 450 ) + 7 sin 𝜃 by

expressing in the form 𝑅 cos(𝜃 − 𝛼). State the smallest values of 𝜃 for which

they occur. (12 marks)
