VISION ’24
Vision’ 24 was officially inaugurated on the morning of May 2nd at
Tag Auditorium by Mr. S Sudhakar (ITS) Dy. Director General,
Department of Telecommunications. Mr Sudhakar ignited the
young minds present in the audience with his impeccably delivered
talk in which he reminisced about his days at CEG and the impact
that CEG had made in his life. He also spoke about various techni-
cal aspects of 5G communication . It was indeed an enlightening
start to a trailblazing event. The much-awaited symposium began
with a plethora of technical and non-technical events which
witnessed the participation of enthusiastic students from various
departments. The Technical events, Bidtronics, Electrolex Xchange,
Once Upon A Time In Codingwood, , Spark Sprint, Techtrek Quest, Startup Sphere were a groundbreaking success among
tech enthusiasts challenging their intellect not only in technical concepts but also in a myriad of other real-world skills like
entrepreneurship, teamwork, and creativity. Flagship events Line Tracer and Robohockey Rumble truly provided an adrena-
line-pumping experience to the participants helping them discover the world of Mechatronics. The non-technical events, Mys-
tery Mastery: Detective Challenge, IPL auction, Melo-city, Minigame Mayhem 2.0, Fandom Fiesta, Cine-Kraze, and Carnivals
doubtlessly injected a significant fun factor into Vision’24. These events helped students connect with their peers and proved
to be absolute stress-busters amidst a hectic academic schedule. The 7th edition of the departmental magazine Pulse was
released during the inauguration ceremony. The magazine helped students discover their latent talents in the fields of both web
design and content development. Pulse showcased the enthralling works of students on a myriad of technical topics falling
under four major themes, Artificial Intelligence, Web Tech, Neural Networks, and Gaming. The magazine turned out to be a
very informative and enlightening read. The project display event, Exhivison provided young innovators a platform to share
their ideas and foster collaboration. A number of projects demonstrating the practical aspects of multiple technical concepts
learnt over the years were displayed.
The felicitation ceremony took place at the mini auditorium on the
evening of May 4th , where Dr. M Meenakshi (Chairperson, ECEA)
and Mr. Keertivardan Davloor (Director, Indra Insignia) honoured
the winners of various events, bringing Vision’ 24 to a conclusion.
Vision’24 wouldn’t have been possible without the support of our
efficient team of office bearers, resolute core members, and diligent
team of coordinators and volunteers. A special note of thanks to
everyone who made Vision‘24 the event it was.
