Oil Temperature 43 ± 6°C (110 ± 10°F)
Engine Speed 2000 ± 5 rpm
Transmission Pressure 1862 ± 103 kPa (18.6 ± 1.0 bar) (270 ± 15 psi)
Pressure Regulating Valve Shims As Required

JT05800 Digital Thermometer
JT05801 Electronic Tachometer
Gauge 0—4100 kPa (0—41 bar) (0—600 psi)

1. Connect thermometer. See Digital Thermometer Installation . (See procedure in this group.)

2. NOTE:

Monitor tachometer in the machine can be used. See Calibration procedure in Group 9015-20.

See JT05801 Clamp-On Electronic Tachometer Installation. (Go to 9010.)

3. Install gauge (B) on quick coupler and fitting (A).

4. Heat transmission oil to test specifications. (See Transmission and Axle Oil Warm-Up Procedure in this group.) Access
Transmission System and Lube Pressure Test SERVICE ADVISOR™ system template for readings.

Oil Temperature 43 ± 6°C (110 ± 10°F)

5. Securely block grader wheels so it cannot roll. Place transmission shift lever in NEUTRAL position while recording
data, otherwise have shift lever in park “P” position.

6. Run engine at specified speed and record pressure.

Item Measurement Specification

Engine Speed 2000 ± 5 rpm

If pressure is not to specification adjust pressure regulating valve (C) by adding or removing shims as required to
obtain correct pressure.

Item Measurement Specification

Transmission Pressure 1862 ± 103 kPa (18.6 ± 1.0 bar)


(270 ± 15 psi)
