Using Canva
Log In or Sign Up:
Once you click the links, you will be asked to log-in
to use the template. If it's your first time using
Canva, you will be asked to sign up for a Free
Account.
Replacing Photos:
Add custom photos via the Uploads tab on left of
screen. Drag photo over the template photo you
wish to replace, and it should auto shape itself to
template.
Alter text:
Double click in text box to edit text. To edit font
type, color, size, etc. use the ribbon above. Text
effects like outline and shadow can be found in the
Effects tab on ribbon above.
Layer Positions:
You can move each layer forward or backward by
selecting the item you wish to move, click the
Position button on above ribbon, drag the layer
where you want it.
Photo editing
Transparency:
A-Change the opacity of a photo by clicking the
photo and clicking the checkerboard pattern above
it that says 'Transparency'

Change color of photo:


-Change color by clicking Edit Photo, Duotone, then
selecting any color. You can refine the color more by
changing the highlights and shadow color boxes
underneath it.

Save or Share:
When you are finished, click the Share button at top
of screen to download, share on social, or print.
-donload as PNG, JPG, or PDF.

Printing in Canva:
To print straight from Canva, first click the share
button in the upper right hand corner.
-scroll down to 'Print Your Design'
-Select your orientation (Invitations Portrait, NOTE:
only for 5x7in)
-It will show you a mockup of the front and back of
the prints. If you're happy it looks correct, proceed
to select 'Paper Type', 'Paper Finish', and amount.
-There is an option to include envelopes with your
print. If you don't want them, deselect the option.
-Select 'Continue'
-Download the PDF to make sure all looks correct
for a final revision.
-Checkout
