The crocheted bunny amigurumi stands out with its plush texture and we can say that its

tiny
bow tie-shaped bag adds a different atmosphere to the toy. The crochet hook preferred by
the designer in making the toy is 5.5 mm and the brand of the yarn used is Bernat Blanket
Yarn. The crocheted bunny has a round head and we can see that it has quite thick legs.
Baby Bow Bunny Amigurumi Pattern
The toy has a pink nose and pink cheeks. It is recommended that you use an 18 mm crochet
hook to create the eyes of the toy when making the crocheted bunny.
Designer: amibyabi
MATERIALS NEEDED

A crochet hook of your choice (I used a 5.5mm)

Yarn of your choice (I used Bernat Blanket yarn)
Safety eyes (I used 18mm)
Scissors
Acrylic yarn for the nose
A darning needle
A stitch marker
Stuffing
Ribbon for the ears (this is completely optional! You can always use yarn if you don’t have
ribbon)
ABBREVIATIONS
sc – single crochet
inc – increase
dec – decrease
ch – chain
sl st – slip stitch
FLO – front loops only
FO – fasten off
MR – magic ring
The crocheted bunny has a head that can be called round. Such designs are very useful for
those who will make amigurumi. Now, let’s first crochet the head of the crocheted bunny.
HEAD

R1. 6 sc in a MR (6)
R2. inc x 6 (12)
R3. (sc, inc)x6 (18)
R4. (2 sc, inc)x6 (24)
R5. (3 sc, inc)x6 (30)
R6. (4 sc, inc)x6 (36)
R7-13. sc around *7 rounds* (36)
R14. (4 sc, dec)x6 (30)
R15. (3 sc, dec)x6 (24)
R16. (2 sc, dec)x6 (18)
Sl st & FO leaving a short yarn tail. Stuff your bunny head & attach the eyes between R10-11
of the head, at least 6 sts apart! With your acrylic yarn, embroider your bunny nose right in
between the eyes.
After stuffing the head of the toy, it will be enough to position the eyes as indicated in the
instructions. After adding a downward nose and pink cheeks to the bunny, we can make the
big ears of the toy. The ears of the toy are made without stuffing.
EARS
Make two!
R1. 8 sc in a MR (8)
R2. inc x 8 (16)
R3. (sc, inc)x8 (24)
R4-7. sc around *4 rounds* (24)
R8. (4 sc, dec)x4 (20)
R9-10. sc around *2 rounds* (20)
R11. (3 sc, dec)x4 (16)
R12-14. sc around *3 rounds* (16)
R15. (2 sc, dec)x4 (12)
R16-18. sc around *3 rounds* (12)
R19. (2 sc, dec)x3 (9)
R20. sc around (9)
sl st & FO leaving a long tail for sewing. Do not stuff & sew the ears between R5-6 of the
head.
After crocheting the ears of the toy, you can sew them to the head of the rabbit in the right
position. Now it’s time for the body of the rabbit. Now let’s crochet the body of the rabbit. But
there’s a detail you shouldn’t forget here. The legs of the toy are crocheted as a whole with
its body. So you’ll need to make this piece carefully.
BODY

Starting off with the legs

Make two!
R1. 7 sc in a MR (7)
R2. inc x 7 (14)
R3. inc, sc 13 (15)
R4. in FLO, sc around (15)
R5-7. sc around *3 rounds* (15)
Sl st & FO THE FIRST LEG ONLY, leaving a long yarn tail (you might need this later)
Repeat rounds 1-7 for the second leg but DO NOT FO! We will continue on with the body.
R8. with your hook still attached to your second leg, connect it to the first leg with a sc. This
will be the first stitch of the round. Then sc 14 more around the first leg & 15 sc around the
second leg (30)
R9.-15. sc around *7 rounds* (30)
If there is a gap between the legs, use the long yarn tail from the first leg to sew it shut
R16. (3 sc, dec)x6 (24)
R17. (2 sc, dec)x6 (18)
Sl st & FO leaving a long yarn tail. Stuff your bunny body! & sew the head onto the body.
Finally, after crocheting the bunny’s arms, it is recommended that you sew them to the 16th
and 17th rounds of the body. Let’s get started.
ARMS
Make two!
R1. 5 sc in a MR (5)
R2. inc x 5 (10)
R3-9. sc around *7 rounds* (10)
Sl st & FO leaving a long tail for sewing. Stuff the arms & sew them right below the head,
between R16-17 of the body.
Finally, we will crochet the toy’s tiny bow tie shaped bag. Although bunny toys have similar
features, they are distinguished from each other by such accessories. What makes the
difference in this toy is the bow tie bag.
BOW
R1. CH 16, leaving a long starting tail (you’ll need this later) (16)
R2. starting from the second chain from the hook, sc 15, ch 1, turn (15)
R3. sc 15, ch 1, turn (15)
R4. sc 15 (15)
Now connect your bow ends together & sl st them shut. This will be the back of your bow.
Now just FO leaving another long yarn tail.

BOW TAILS
R1. ch 12 (12)
R2. starting from the second chain from the hook, sl st 2, sc 7, sl st 2 (11)
Now FO & weave in your ends.
BOW ASSEMBLY
With your first bow piece, use your two yarn tails to tie a knot or two around the middle, to
give it that “bow” look.
Now with your bow tail, fold it in half & place it under your bow & tie it around, using the same
yarn tails you used for the first part of your bow. This will let the bow tails “hang” & complete
the look!
If this part of the pattern confuses you, you can also watch my video tutorial on how I
assemble the bow here.: Youtube Video Link
This is what your finished bow should look like! Now you just use a long piece of yarn &
connect it to the back of the bow & around your bunny to make it a bag. Weave in your ends
& you should have your completed bow bag.
Now just add little ribbons to the ears, add a little blush & you’re done!
