The Great Shakespeare

William Shakespeare was an English playwright and poet from the late 16th and early 17th centuries. He is widely considered the greatest writer in the English language. Shakespeare wrote 38 plays and 154 sonnets. Some of his most famous plays include Romeo and Juliet, Hamlet, Macbeth, and A Midsummer Night's Dream. While details of Shakespeare's life are scarce, it is known that he was born in 1564 in Stratford-upon-Avon and died in 1616, being buried there. There is still mystery around some details like his schooling and the disappearance of his skull from his original grave site.
