Chassis:
Acquired new by the Scuderia Ecosse team, this chassis was raced extensively during the 2006 season by predominantly Tim Mullen and Chris Niarchos. The car was campaigned in the FIA GT Championship, British GT Championship and in the 24 Hours of Le Mans, where Niarchos and Mullen were joined by team principal Andrew Kirkaldy. The F430 was particularly successful in the British GT Championship where it won ten of the fourteen rounds. For 2007, the car’s program was ‘limited’ to the FIA GT Championship, which the team ended third in the GT2 category, and the 24 Hours of Le Mans. The newly rebranded CR Scuderia (CRS) team continued to race chassis 2418 into the 2010 season, scoring addition FIA GT and GT Open GT2 class victories. After five successful seasons, chassis 2418 was retired from contemporary racing. It was eventually acquired by a collector and gentleman racer who raced a sister car for the CRS Racing team at Le Mans in 2011. Prepared for historic racing during 2024, it has returned to its winning ways with Endurance Racing Legends 2 wins at the 2025 Espiritu de Montjuic.
